The Alma School District made a strong showing at the ACTE CareerTech VISION conference this week in San Antonio, TX. Attendees from the district, including Samantha Dooley, Debby Barrett, Michele Ikenberry, and Lindsey Johnson, actively participated in this premier event focused on career and technical education (CTE).
The annual conference attracts thousands of educators, business leaders, and industry experts from around the world. It offers a wealth of opportunities to learn through keynote speakers, educational sessions, and networking events, such as the CareerTech Expo.
Participants had access to valuable sessions covering a wide range of CTE topics for both secondary and postsecondary education, including agricultural education, business and marketing, career academies, counseling and career development, family and consumer sciences, engineering and technology, health science, trade and industrial education, and work-based learning.
The conference provided an excellent platform for professional development, and we look forward to seeing how these educators apply their new insights and skills in their programs.
