Stogsdill, Adams help Alma  slide by Farmington, 30-25

Alma (9th) 30, Farmington 25  

BOYS - Luke Stogsdill and Lawson Adams combined for 21 points and 10 rebounds Wednesday to power Alma to a 30-25 win over Farmington. 

The Airedales built a 20-8 advantage before seeing the lead cut to six (22-16) and 28-22) in the second half. Farmington closed to within three (28-25) before Stogsdill hit two free throws to secure the victory.  

Alma (17-2, 7-0) will host Siloam Springs on Thursday.  

Adams was 4-of-5 from the field. The Airedales were just 9-of-26 as a team. Stogsdill was 7-of-8 from the foul line. 

Chase Wood had four points, Carson Curd three, and Drake Ciampoli added two points. 


Farmington (8th) 58, Alma 53 

BOYS - Alma’s eighth-grade team fell behind Farmington by 14 (47-33) before closing within two Wednesday at Crabtree Gym. 

But the Cardinals were able to hold on for a 58-53 win. 

Barron Daily led Alma with 15 points. Carson Hamilton and Jack Taylor finished with 14 and 12, respectively. 

Brennan Gwinn added nine points, and Tucker Workman had three. 


Alma (7th) 31, Farmington 29  

BOYS - Nate Risley’s three-point play with 15.2 left helped rally Alma to a 31-29 win over Farmington Wednesday. 

David Atherton led Alma with 12 points. Titus Benson had nine, and Risley finished with seven. 

Alma’s Barrett Curd added a 3-pointer. 


Farmington (9th) 67, Alma 32 

GIRLS - Alma’s ninth-grade girls team dropped a 67-32 decision to Farmington Wednesday. 

Anna Swarnes led Alma (14-4, 5-2) with 12 points. Olivia Hughes and Jaeli Morris had six and five, respectively. 

Maddie Dunn had four points, and Faith Sartor and Jaeda Cahoon added three and two points, respectively. 

Alma travels to Siloam Springs on Thursday. 


Farmington (7th) 36, Alma 33 

GIRLS - Violet Watkins led Alma’s ‘Green’ team with 11 points during Wednesday’s tough 36-33 loss to Farmington in seventh-grade girls' basketball action. 

Collins Driscoll and Ryleigh Floyd had seven and six points, respectively, for the Lady Airedales. Elsee Travis added four points, and Sonnie Tally and Cydney Harper scored three and two points, respectively. 

Alma’s ‘Gold’ team lost to Farmington, 22-10. Sadie Goodnoh, Matalyn Robinson, Addie Lambert, Emma Ingram, and Lynnex Roe had two points apiece.  


Farmington (8th) 52, Alma 38  

GIRLS - Alma’s eighth-grade girls basketball team suffered a 52-38 loss to Farmington Wednesday. 

Khloe Dunn led Alma with 13 points. Haven Baxter had eight points, and Mallory Taylor and Madie House scored six each. 

Chloe Kovalck and Jaeli Morris had two points each, and Kali Wasson added one point.
