We are pleased to announce that Manesseh Moore has been selected as the new Assistant Principal at Alma High School for the next school year. Mrs. Moore is well known to the school community as she currently serves as a counselor at Alma High School. She will begin working alongside Mr. Kirkendoll and Mr. Reeves to ensure a smooth transition and officially start her new position as Assistant Principal at the beginning of July.
Manesseh graduated with High Honors from Alma High School in 2000 after attending Alma schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education from Arkansas Tech University and a Master's Degree in School Counseling and Leadership from Arkansas Tech University. She is near completion of her Educational Specialist's Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. For the first six years of her career, she taught various social studies classes, including Civics and Economics, American History, and Arkansas History.
For the past thirteen years, she has served as a School Counselor, assisting students with personal and social concerns, building academic skills, and planning for their future. She and her husband, Jason, have been married for seventeen years and have five children.

Alma High School will continue to move forward and prosper from the leadership Mrs. Moore will provide as an assistant principal," said Mr. Kirkendoll. "Manesseh is well respected and loved by our faculty. AHS just got better."
