AMS THEATRE: MUCH ADO

Alma Middle School Theatre recently entertained students and staff with a lively performance of Much Ado High School by Lindsay Price. This fun-filled spoof of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing transported audiences to a 1950s-themed high school dance, complete with energetic dance numbers, cheesy jokes, and a touch of romance.

“This was a really special group of students — both as people and performers,” said Theatre Teacher Mrs. Bocksnick. “It was an all-school production, with nearly 80 students auditioning. We had 38 middle school students involved — 35 in the cast and three working backstage — as well as five high school technicians and two high school hair and makeup artists. Our school performance was fantastic, and we had a great turnout for our evening show.”

The production showcased the hard work, creativity, and teamwork of the students, bringing laughter and excitement to the audience. Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic performance! A special thank you to the talented Ann Price for capturing these wonderful memories.
