The AMS Junior Thespian group continues to impress! Following last week’s exciting announcement, we’re thrilled to share even more success from their recent trip to the Junior Thespian Festival.
AMS competed in two live competitions and Showcased (1st place) in both. They earned a Superior Rating and were selected to Showcase in Group Acting with a scene from Hoodie, performed by Ethan Barber, Easton DeLude, and Lennon Hendrix. They also received a Superior Rating and Showcased in Group Musical with "It's a Hard Knock Life" from Annie, performed by Taylor Castleberry, Nora Dean, Raynee Fortier, Paisley Howell, Joslynn Reeves, Elena Scott, and Sabra Stout.
Adding to their achievements, the musical performance was choreographed by AMS Theatre alumnus Layla Hendrix (9th grade), with assistance from AMS Theatre alumnus Brylee Dean (9th grade).
Two AMS students also received All-State honors:
Nora Dean – All-State Cast, Hoodie
Ethan Barber – All-State Crew, Hoodie
AMS Theatre Teacher and Thespian Junior Troupe Director Mrs. Bocksnick shared her excitement:
