The Alma eighth-grade girls and boys track teams competed at the Ramsey Relays. 

Mallory Holcombe won the 100 meters with a time of 13.78. Anna Swarnes narrowly took second (13.81). Swarnes won the long jump (15-6) and was second (28.89) in the 200. 

The Lady Airedales’ Tori Muszanki won the 400 (1:05.98). Kaitlin Middleton was fourth (20.46) in the 100 hurdles. 

Holcombe was fifth in the triple jump and seventh in the high jump. Mayra Araujo was third (7:02.19) in the 1600. 

Faith Sarter and Julia McAlister finished first and second, respectively, in the shot put with tosses of 35-8 and 31-2. Sarter was also fifth in the discus. 

In the boys events, Dylan Jackson was second (48.72) in the 300 hurdles and was part of Alma’s second-place finish (4:03.12) in the 1600 relay with Colton Nutt, Tristan Nutt, and Izaac Plourde. 

Tristan Nutt (1:00.66) and Grady Farmer (1:01.58) were third and fourth, respectively, in the 400. 

Sammy Moore finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 200 and 100 meters. Andrew Bush (6:10.56) and Josiah Stallings finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 1600. Stallings was eighth in the 800. 

Alma fared well in the 300 hurdles, with Jackson taking second (48.72) and Colton Nutt seventh. 

Brycen Lester and Jackson placed fifth and eighth, respectively, in the 110 hurdles. Lester, Daniel Rodriguez, Bryan Ocanas, and Wyatt Fisher were sixth in the 800 relays. 

Alma’s Farmer, Tanner Carter, Brian Snider, and Logan Flanagan were fifth in the 3200 relay. Rodriguez, Plourde, Chase Parker, and Carson Smith were fourth in the 400 relay. Flanagan won the pole vault (9-0), and Farmer and Parker placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in the triple jump.

Also in the boys field events, Moore took second (17-8 ½) in the long jump. Plourde finished fourth (17-0 ¾). Boaz Benson was fourth in the discus (101-6), and Tristan Nutt was fifth in the shot put.
