Alma’s Hamir Thibodeaux, Dallas Perkins, and Mason Mahar picked up victories at the Van Buren seventh-grade track meet. 

Perkins won the 100 meters with a time of 12.53. Mahar took first in the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, 3 ¾. 

Mahar, Thibodeaux, Perkins, and Quinton Broadway won the 400 relay with a time of 51.28. Trenton Simon, Levi McCollum, Rhett Underhill, and Nathan Horn placed third (11:51.49) in the 3200 relay. 

Alma’s Mahar, Thibodeaux, Perkins, and Trace Muszanski were third (4:29.27) in the 1600 relay. 

Broadway, Malacki Houck, Connor Langston, and Carter Williams placed sixth in the 800 relay. Langston was fifth in the 100 and seventh in the 200, and Broadway was fifth in the 200 and fifth in the triple jump. 

In the field events, Trevon Moore was third (31-01) in the shot put and sixth in the discus. Blake Blackburn was fifth in the shot put. Perkins and Cole Newton placed seventh, respectively, in the long jump and triple jump.
