The Alma Airedales’ junior high boys and girls track teams competed at the Dardanelle Relays Monday. 

Sam Schlegel won the boys’ 110 hurdles with a time of 15.75. He won the 300 hurdles as well with a time of 42.11. 

Schlegel, Ernesto Estrella, Owen McCoy, and John Crump were second (3:59.71) in the 1600 relay. McCoy was fourth in the pole vault (8-0) and fourth in the 400 (55.78). Crump placed fifth in the 100 hurdles and high jump. 

Dallas Stallings was fourth (42-2) in the shot put. Ashton Millsap was fifth in the triple jump, and Joey Lynn was fifth in the discus and seventh in the shot put. 

McCoy, Caleb Boen, Trevor Simon, and Jackson Rust were sixth in the 3200 relay. Millsap, Schlegel, Tim Plourde, and Ethan Her were sixth in the 400 relay. 

Alma’s Chloe Gregory won two events as well. She took first in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.22, and she had the winning jump (31-7) in the triple jump. Gregory was eighth in the high jump. The Lady Airedales’ Nevaeh Kangas was second (6:15.00) in the 1600. 

Also for the Lady Airedales, Kyran Kious was sixth in the 100 hurdles and seventh in the 200. Alma’s Elena Frantzen and Gracie Erwin placed seventh in the 1600 and discus, respectively.
