The Alma Airedales’ eighth-grade boys track team competed at the Kimmons Relays this week at Southside High School. Dylan Jackson won the boy's 300 hurdles with a time of 49.08. 

Grady Farmer placed second (33-7) in the triple jump and fifth in the 1600 meters. Alma’s Sammy Moore placed third in the 100 and 200 meters, respectively. 

Alma’s Logan Flanagan was second (7-0) in the pole vault. 

Tristan Nutt was third (1:02.20) in the 400 and third (37-4) in the shot put. Colton Nutt was fifth in the discus and seventh in the 300 hurdles. Brycen Lester placed fourth (19.98) in the 110 hurdles. Daniel Rodriguez placed sixth in the 110 hurdles and seventh in the long jump.  

The Airedales’ Andrew Bush was fourth (6:11.47) in the 1600 and seventh in the shot put. Boaz Benson was fourth in the discus (106-10). 

Izaac Plourde and Chase Parker were fourth in the long jump and triple jump, respectively. 

Alma did well in the relay events. The 1600 relay squad won their event (4:12.40) and the Airedales’ 800 relay squad placed third (1:43.33).
