Junior Demetrius Parish continued his good spring Thursday with some outstanding performances at the Leonard Daniel Relays. 

 

Parish won the triple jump with a leap of 42-3 and the high jump (5-8). Parish was also part of the first-place 400 relay team (44.53). 

 

The group included Dillon Flanagan, Braxton Kilgore, and Byron Standridge. Standridge also won the 200 meters (23.67), placed second (11.19) in the 100, and was sixth (17-9) in the long jump.  

 

The Airedales’ Kilgore, Flanagan, Keyshawn Rhodes, and Jael Nunez placed second (1:35.66) in the 800 relay. Nunez won the 400 meters (51.09). Flanagan was third (24.2) in the 200 and fourth in the 100 (11.3). 

 

Standridge, Ayden Parker, Caleb Parker, and Nunez finished second (3:40.18) in the 1600 relay. 

 

Alma’s Ashton Chanhnouvong was fifth (33-1) in the long jump, and Cash Farrish finished seventh in the triple jump. Rhodes was sixth (24.82) in the 200 meters.  

 

Ayden Parker and Josh Releford were seventh in the 400 and 800 meters, respectively. 

 

Dakota Stallings was fourth (113-3) in the discus and sixth (38-00.05) in the shot put. Teammates Jackson Mitchell and Jayden Parker were sixth and eighth, respectively, in the discus. 

 

For the girls, sophomore Kenadie Farris won the high jump (4-10). Fellow sophomore Zoye Wofford was fourth (1:06.70) in the 400 and seventh in the high jump.
