Alma Schools
The Alma Airedales and Lady Airedales competed at the Siloam Springs Relays.
Alma’s Ernesto Estrella, Owen McCoy, Sam Schlegel, and Caleb Liles took first in the 1600 relay with a time of 3:56.23.
Schlegel was second (18-4) in the long jump, and John Crump placed second (5-4) in the high jump. Liles was fourth (5-2) in the high jump.
McCoy and Estrella were third and fourth, respectively, in the 400 meters with a time of 57.82 and 59.01. Teammate Ashton Millsap was eighth in the 200 and 400, respectively.
The foursome of McCoy, Crump, Millsap, and Liles took second (1:43.33) in the 800 relay.
Liles, Schlegel, Tim Plourde, and Ethan Her were second (50.02) in the 400 relay.
Also for the Airedales, Schlegel was second (18-4) in the long jump, Crump was third (19.33) in the 110 high hurdles, and Joey Lynn placed eighth in the shot put. Millsap and Liles placed fifth and eighth, respectively, in the triple jump.
Alma’s Jaidon Humphrey took second (107.61) in the 400 meters. Humphrey was eighth in the high jump.
Elena Frantzen placed third (2:56.02) in the 800 meters. She was fourth (6:22.21) in the 1600 meters.
Humphrey, Brooklyn Qualls, McKinley Boyd, and Kyran Kious took third (2:03.23) in the 800 relay. Kious was fifth (31.34) in the 200 meters.
