Alma’s Ayden Parker, Caleb Parker, Ryan Carter, and Jael Nunez combined to place second (3;51.05) during Van Buren Running Festival.
Nunez was third (52.78) in the 400 meters.
Byron Standridge competed in a number of events, placing third in the 100 meters (11.74) and eighth in the 200.
Standridge, Keyshawn Rhodes, Demetrius Parish, and Eli Pellum placed third (1:37.40) in the 800 relay. Standridge, Danny Ehrhardt, Dillon Flanagan, and Braxton Kilgore placed third (45.55) in the 400 relay.
The foursome of Ehrhardt, Kilgore, Nunez, and Flanagan took fourth in the 800 relay.
