Alma 23, Ozark 14
GIRLS — Faith Sartor had nine first-quarter points and the Alma Lady Airedales’ ninth-grade team defeated Ozark on Tuesday, 23-14, for its ninth victory without a loss.
Sartor finished with 11 points. Emberyly Kimes and Breella Hughes had four points and three points for the winners.
Izabel Benson and Olivia Hughes had two points, and Anna Swarnes added one.
Alma will host Bentonville West Thursday.
Alma 26, Ozark 4
GIRLS — The dominant Alma eighth-grade girls defeated Ozark, 26-4, Tuesday night.
Ruthy Dunaway and Matilyn Dunn combined for 15 points for the winners, with Dunaway leading the way with eight.
Kasey Breyette had five points, and Lauren Settle and Jaeda Cahoon finished with four and two points, respectively.
Alma 29, Ozark 17
BOYS — Alma built an insurmountable 16-point lead and cruised past Ozark’s eighth-grade squad on Tuesday, 29-17.
Sammy Moore led Alma with nine points and three steals. Boaz Benson added five points, and Luke Stogsdill and Cade Moore had four each.
Also for Alma, Brycen Lester had three points, and Hudson Loughridge and Drake Ciampoli added two points each. Loughridge also pulled down five rebounds.
Lawson Adams had three assists and two boards.
Ozark 43, Alma JH 24
BOYS — Alma battled Ozark for three quarters before being outscored 19-5 in the final six minutes on Tuesday.
Easton Daily led the Airedales with nine points. Jeremiah Schlegel and Braden Kimes finished with five points apiece.
Alma will host Bentonville West on Thursday.
