The Alma eighth grade football team rolled to a 35-6 win over Pea Ridge.
Izaac Plourde ran for 142 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries. Chase Parker threw for 40 yards while completing all seven of his pass attempts. Parker also added 27 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.
Dylan Jackson caught four passes for 29 yards. He also threw a 2-point conversion pass.
Andrew Bush led the defensive charge with four tackles. Devin Reed had two stops and a fumble recovery.
Tristan Nutt and Lawson Adams also recovered fumbles.
Volleyball
Alma dropped a heartbreaking five-set match to Siloam Springs Tuesday, 14-25, 25-16, 12-25, 25-20, 15-11, in 5A-West play.
The Lady Airedales (1-8) travel to Russellville on Friday.
Jenna Williams led Alma with 10 kills. Mia Nichols and Rachel James finished with seven and six kills, respectively.
Sophomore Grace Peters finished with a career-high 19 digs and six kills.
Julia Nutt had 28 assists and 22 digs, and Mabrey Birchfield finished with 18 digs.
